Delete Your Nestli Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Nestli account and all associated personal data. Nestli is a mobile application for tracking baby care activities, developed by the Nestli team.

How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your Nestli account, with the subject line:

Delete my Nestli account

Please include in the body of the email:

Your Nestli username (if you remember it), or
The email address you used to sign up

We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email once your account and associated data have been deleted.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our active systems:

Your account profile (username, email, password hash)
Baby profiles you created and own
All care logs (feeding, diaper, sleep, growth, health records)
Photos you uploaded to Nestli
Invite codes you generated
AI assistant usage history tied to your account

What Data May Be Retained

Some information may be kept for a limited period for legal, security, or operational reasons:

Backups — routine encrypted database backups may retain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten.
Transactional logs — server access logs and email delivery logs may be retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs do not contain your baby care records.
Shared baby data — if another family member was also a member of a baby profile you shared, that family member remains the owner of their own copy of the records they created. Your membership is removed, but records they added are not deleted.

Alternative: Request Deletion of Specific Data Only

If you do not want to delete your entire account but want specific data removed (for example, a particular baby profile or photo), you can either:

Delete it directly inside the Nestli app, or
Email [email protected] with the subject Delete my data and a description of what you would like removed.
